Kraft paper is sensitive to humidity. Prolonged exposure to high humidity can soften, deform, and even cause mold growth on the paper. Therefore, the storage environment should be kept as dry as possible, with a relative humidity preferably below 50%. Use dehumidifiers or desiccants to maintain appropriate humidity levels. Additionally, avoid storing directly on the ground; use pallets or shelves to isolate from ground moisture and reduce the risk of dampness. Regularly inspect inventory areas for signs of leaks and take measures to repair any potential sources of moisture.

Extended UV exposure accelerates the aging process of kraft paper, causing it to yellow and lose strength. Thus, choose a shaded storage space to avoid direct sunlight. If complete avoidance of light is not possible, install curtains or use light-blocking fabrics to reduce light intensity. For long-term inventory storage, consider using opaque packaging materials to further protect products from light exposure. Furthermore, arrange cargo placement reasonably to ensure all items receive uniform and moderate lighting, preventing localized overheating.

The ideal storage temperature range for kraft paper is between 15°C and 25°C. Excessively high temperatures can make the paper brittle, while excessively low temperatures may stiffen it, making it difficult to fold. Use air conditioning systems to regulate indoor temperatures, especially during summer and winter. Also, beware of condensation caused by temperature fluctuations, which can lead to localized dampness and damage paper products.

Correct stacking methods not only save space but also effectively prevent deformation or damage due to excessive pressure. Adjust stacking heights according to paper bag size and weight; generally, no more than three layers is advisable. Place separators between each layer to distribute pressure and maintain good ventilation.
